How many attachment styles are there?
Usually four: secure, anxious, avoidant and fearful-avoidant (also called disorganized), which mixes anxious and avoidant patterns.
Why do anxious and avoidant clash?
The anxious partner moves closer while the avoidant partner pulls away, so the more one chases, the more the other retreats.
Can my attachment style change?
Yes. Long, stable relationships can move people toward secure.
Is this a clinical test?
No. It's a quiz for fun with questions we wrote ourselves. If something is weighing on you, talk to a professional.
